Dr. Hickey is a practicing emergency physician and is the current President of the Virginia College of Emergency Physicians. He has extensive service as a medical staff leader and is a former medical director for emergency medicine and hospital Chief of Staff for CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Hickey was appointed by Governor Ralph Northam to serve the Board of Health Professions through the Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. He lives in Maidens, Virginia with his wife Sue and their four children.
